Freeport City Council heard a lengthy public discussion and mediation report on a proposed EDC settlement to finish six houses on Skinner Street and tabled formal approval pending contract clarifications; the council also approved several personnel, contract and budget items including creation of an assistant city manager post and a short extension of the Veolia water contract.
