Committee chair opened the deferred 3PM agenda and called up representatives from the Attorney General's office (Dave Day) and the judiciary (Brandon Kimura) to discuss a measure previously heard on Feb. 2 and to move into decision making.
The Hawaii State Senate Committee on Labor and Technology held a deferred-agenda hearing on Feb. 13, 2026, hearing testimony and taking votes on several bills: a pilot to fund TRO representation for public employees (SB2567), an intimate-images civil remedies bill (SB2448), an income tax credit (SB3046), workforce internship changes (SB2231), and rehiring retired employees (SB2526). Multiple agencies and community groups testified; all five bills were recommended to pass with amendments and adopted by the committee.
