A joint hearing of the Senate Committee on Energy and Intergovernmental Affairs and AEN on Feb. 12 considered six bills on nature-based carbon accounting, organic waste diversion, an increased energy/food security tax to fund EV chargers, agricultural condominium mapping, climate planning (deferred), and a renewable fuels production tax credit. Several measures passed with amendments; one was deferred for further review.
