The Rules and Procedure Committee of the City of Aurora, Illinois, met to consider approval of minutes and a package of board appointments and reappointments (veterans, cultural and advisory boards), and to consider an ordinance to expand the mayor’s sustainability advisory board from seven to nine members. Most items moved forward unanimously; several appointments prompted requests for corrected paperwork and follow-up with AVAC.
