The Senate Arctic Affairs Committee heard a presentation from Jody Anderson, director of the Institute of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Extension at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, on institute research, new equipment bought with governor funding, kelp and livestock nutrition trials, forestry monitoring, and a $3 million operating request included in the university red book.
