City of La Porte Common Council met Feb. 17, 2026. The council approved routine minutes, heard a clerk-treasurer investment report, approved an ordinance vacating a Walton Avenue cul-de-sac, passed a $35,754 appropriation for prisoner partitions in the Lehi public safety fund, introduced an ordinance to add a $20 fire applicant fee, withdrew a proposed one-way conversion for M Street, and reappointed two bid-board members.
