Mentor City Council met Feb. 17, 2026, and approved a package of ordinances including budget transfers, a bulkhead repair contract, subdivision plat approval, an energy grant acceptance, a temporary extension of a vape-store moratorium and a splash-pad change order. Council also heard public comments on deer management and a recent apartment fire that displaced residents.
