Gibson County Redevelopment Commission held a public hearing on a proposed Tax Increment Finance (TIF) allocation area to support infrastructure for a Toyota expansion; financial adviser Matt Eckerley of Baker Tilly explained tax impacts and history of the Toyota TIF, several residents raised safety, tax and health concerns during public comment, and the commission voted to table action until its March meeting.
