The Cuyahoga County Public Works procurement and contracting committee approved minutes and voted to award a $2,004,831.95 contract to Vondra Brothers Construction to resurface 1.39 miles of Broadway Avenue in the village of Oakwood; the project is 80% federally funded with the local share covered by Issue 1. Committee members also discussed DBE goals, pavement condition ratings, traffic counts and funding programs that influence project selection.
