The House Committee on Labor held a hearing and decision-making session Feb. 19, 2026 in Conference Room 309 to take testimony and act on multiple bills related to state employment, permitting, public notice, professional licensure and agriculture. Several bills passed with amendments, a few were deferred, and one measure on professional engineers was deferred after extended debate about qualification standards.
