At its June 13, 2024 meeting, the Orange Unified School District Board heard dozens of student and parent speakers urging the reinstatement of a recently dismissed El Modena cheer coach, held public hearings on the district's Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and proposed 2024-25 budget, ratified a tentative agreement with the teachers'union, and began work on an asset-management plan to free capital for school facility needs.
