The Kansas Senate convened for a legislative session that included roll call, a prayer and pledge, committee recommendations, confirmation of an appointment (Dwight Keane) and unanimous passage of four bills, several ceremonial recognitions (American Heart Month, Bank Leaders of Kansas, pages, cardiac-arrest survivors), announcements of upcoming hearings and a pro forma adjournment.
