The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and investor-owned utilities announced a $430 million package of summer bill relief, including a $100 one-time credit for all residential customers, additional assistance for income-eligible households, two $30 monthly deferrals for July and August (recovered at $10/month Sept–Feb), and a suspension of service shutoffs and reconnection fees for eligible customers this summer.
