The New Jersey Senate Judiciary Committee held confirmation hearings for Governor Sherrill's nominees, Jennifer Davenport for attorney general and Aaron Binder for state treasurer. Both nominees gave opening remarks, fielded questions on public-safety priorities, immigration enforcement policy, OPIA and outside-counsel spending, budget pressures and constituent service; both nominations were released by the committee following roll-call votes.
