Tribal, federal and state officials gathered at the Cle Elum Dam to mark completion of a juvenile fish passage facility and break ground on an adult fish collection facility intended to reopen nearly 30 miles of upstream habitat for salmon. Speakers highlighted tribal leadership, multiagency partnership and several recent state and federal funding commitments supporting the Yakima Basin work.
