The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners disciplinary and rulemaking committees met Feb. 19, 2026, and considered disciplinary cases (including several default orders and license revocations), proposed rule changes (including allowing certain RDA clinical CE online), questions about patient-abandonment notices and digital alternatives for nonprofits, duties for dental assistants (lasers and CuraDont), a continuing-education repository rollout, and applications from a foreign graduate and a nonprofit clinic.
