Santa Maria Planning Commission approved a permit amendment to expand senior housing at the Vandenberg site and continued consideration of the city's 2020'1045 general plan to March 4 after receipt of late comment letters and public testimony. The general plan presentation reviewed growth projections, annexation acreage and EIR findings; commissioners asked staff to focus on new issues raised before the March 4 hearing.
