Monroe County School Board met to approve routine committee appointments and minutes, discuss budget amendments and a discrepancy in projected fund balance, consider state-mandated policy updates, approve tenure and committee memberships, petition the Monroe County mayor to add local representatives to the county planning commission, and vote to pursue an accelerated closing date for the sale of Sweetwater High School.
