Montgomery Township supervisors discussed a proposed expansion of paid fire staffing to address declining volunteer response, presented staffing-cost scenarios and outreach efforts, heard more than a dozen residents express support and concern—particularly about tax impact and need for an independent study—and voted to schedule a follow-up public meeting on Nov. 14 to review budget numbers and scenarios.
