Presenters from the Colorado State Forest Service reviewed state and federal wildfire grant programs (the state FOREWRM grant and the federal Community Wildfire Defense Grant), including eligibility, match rules and monitoring; council members and stakeholders raised concerns about match waivers, reimbursement barriers, monitoring and capacity to administer grants and suggested legislative and programmatic follow-ups.
