The Jacksonville Beach Planning Commission held its organizational meeting on 2026-02-23, re-elected Nicholas Andrews as chair and Justin Henderson as vice chair, and adopted minor bylaw amendments to standardize swearing-in and set the annual organizational meeting generally for the first meeting in February. The commission scheduled a March 23 briefing from the city attorney on tobacco- and vape-related regulatory authority.
