The Washington County Board of Supervisors met May 14 to adopt a county fire prevention ordinance, approve a rezoning request, amend the FY23–24 operating budget to add Virginia Resources Authority bond financing for radio, broadband and EMS projects, and consider several procurement and personnel items. The board also scheduled a public forum with a solar developer and set further hearings on proposed tax ordinances.
