At its monthly meeting, the Shamokin Area School District board recognized student-of-the-month honorees and approved the district's preliminary general operating budget, the 2026-27 school calendar and a package of routine contracts, personnel items and facility quotes. Most motions passed by roll call; one calendar vote recorded a single dissenter.
