Representative Justin Ruffridge hosted a Soldotna lunch-and-learn where disability advocates from Alaska's Centers for Independent Living described two system-change efforts: expanding access to Medicaid-funded home (environmental) modifications and establishing a Medicaid "self-direction" program so participants can hire and manage their own caregivers.
