The San Francisco Preservation Commission on Feb. 18, 2026 held a public hearing and voted unanimously to approve 12 nominations to the Legacy Business Registry, representing restaurants, shops, nonprofit arts organizations and longtime service firms from across the city. A member of the public also urged the commission to review proposed boundaries for a Pacific Islander cultural district before an ordinance is finalized.
