Port Jervis Common Council met in council chambers to consider local laws, budget scheduling, multiple grant authorizations, routine department reports, property surplus sales and several resolutions affecting the city water system and public safety equipment. The council voted on a tax-cap override, adopted employee residency and other routine items, and set a public hearing for the tentative 2025 budget.
