Town of Farmington ad hoc sidewalk committee reviewed the existing sidewalk ordinance, presented a preliminary condition survey (48 miles of sidewalks) and estimated repair costs of about $18,000,000; staff said a grant would cover roughly 50% of a proposed Meadow Road sidewalk but a public hearing and Town Council action are required. The committee set dates for final internal review (Feb. 10) and a public informational meeting (Feb. 19).
