The Village of Villa Park board met Feb. 23, 2026. Public commenters pressed the board for dust, noise and traffic mitigation at the former municipal parking-lot redevelopment; trustees reviewed staff reports including a finance update and outstanding audits; the board approved several ordinances (including reallocating one-third of the village's 3% cannabis tax toward a new community pool) and authorized a net deduction change order on the Jackson area improvement project; appointments and executive session were scheduled.
