Okaloosa County School Board held a workshop on Jan. 12, 2026 to set hearings on proposed closures and rezoning, review multiple consent-agenda items (budgets, appropriations, procurement and grants), and to schedule a required public hearing on school start times; community members voiced concern about the proposed Mary Esther closure.
