The meeting included a moment of silence for Delegate Charles Latta; presentations and a $10,000 donation tied to the recent Oktoberfest; two proclamations recognizing Veterans & Military Families Month and Operation Greenlight; first reading of a state-conformance speed-camera ordinance; approval of the town, Taylor House Museum, and Chamber event calendars for 2026; and a detailed fiscal 2025 financial update with discussion of smart meters, lead-service-line work and PFAS testing. The council adjourned into executive session.
