Chair David Harris called the meeting to order, completed roll call, led the Pledge of Allegiance and delivered a land acknowledgement recognizing the Kumeyaay Nation. He announced a reordering of the agenda to place regulatory and legislative affairs before the clean energy grants presentation.
San Diego Community PowerCommunity Advisory Committee meeting covered a CalCCA overview and legislative priorities, regional regulatory updates including PCIA and IRP, SDG&Es proposed withdrawal from regional energy-efficiency programs and Community Powers response, the Community Clean Energy Grants cycle and grantee reports, 2026 rate adjustments and reserves planning, and the San Diego Regional Energy Network launch. The committee approved the consent agenda and forwarded a draft CAC work plan to the board.
