Souderton borough council met Oct. 7, 2024. The council accepted the resignation of Councilor Richard Walzak, heard a presentation from Kristen Heckler of Montgomery Theater about programming, tenancy and a lease arrangement (including a request for parking-lot repairs), and held a public hearing that resulted in adoption of a new school-zone ordinance and an update to the recycling/municipal waste ordinance.
