The Iowa House convened for routine business including prayer, approval of the journal, introduction and first readings of several bills referred to committees, two Black History Month presentations honoring a local community leader and the late Reverend Jesse Jackson, recognition of community groups and visitors, and a motion to recess for party caucuses.
