RAMS executive director Paul Peltier presented the organization’s 2024 legislative priorities to the Grand Rapids Public School District board, highlighting rural funding inequities, school trust land questions, special education shortfalls, broadband gaps and teacher-recruitment concerns. The board also reviewed a Safe Routes to School design and funding update with a remaining funding gap for construction.
