At its Feb. 24, 2026 meeting, the Pinellas County School Board approved multiple K–8 conversions, two school closures, a charter renewal for one year, and several district program expansions while hearing public comment from parents, students and the teachers’ association about the impacts of consolidations and administrative practices.
