At a July 14, 2025 Burlington City Council work session, city staff and outside operators briefed the council on early operations at the new Burlington Pickleball Complex and proposed opening memberships to nonresidents with a fee; staff also presented a voluntary annexation petition for 1181 Floral Avenue and the city manager updated the council on tropical-storm response, PFAS funding outreach, and upcoming community events.
