Strongsville City Council on Oct. 6, 2025 approved a guaranteed maximum price and short-term notes to fund a proposed $10 million Fire Station No. 5 on Royalton Road, voted to issue several bond measures and refunds that adjust the 2025 budget, and rejected a fact-finder recommendation related to the patrol officers unit. Council also approved smaller items including a $100,000 liquid asphalt purchase and a senior center restroom change order.
