The Windham School District Board of Trustees and the Texas Board of Criminal Justice met in North Austin for recognition of staff and principals, presentation of Windham’s 2025 accomplishments and the 2025–26 district improvement plan, multiple TDCJ rule and policy changes (including a new inmate correspondence rule restricting hardback/used books and creating an advance-notification portal), several administrative votes, facility renaming and openings, IT and facilities project updates, and law-enforcement presentations on contraband interdiction and investigations.
