The Silver Lake J1 School District annual meeting included election of an annual meeting chair, presentation of audited/pre-audit financials and the 2024–25 proposed budget, votes to restore board member stipends and to set a tax levy of $2,673,365, approval to contract a community survey for a possible capital referendum, presentations on school safety and a Reading Corps tutoring partnership, and a vote to lower the fund-balance target and move to executive session.
