The Summers County Board of Education held its regular meeting March 6, 2025. After an executive session under West Virginia Code 6-9A-4(3), the board approved the superintendent's recommendation to expel a student for 365 days; the board also heard a presentation from Hinton Area Elementary on attendance, safety and academic interventions and approved routine business including bills and personnel actions.
