At a regular meeting of the Athens Shade Tree Commission, members and Mayor Patterson discussed pursuing a formal urban forestry management plan and tree inventory, workshop and volunteer activity, funding constraints and a plan to plant more than 200 trees this year; commissioners agreed to form subcommittees and to recruit new members.
