Cape Canaveral City Council met on Jan. 20, 2026. Council approved a $4.76 million state grant for shoreline work at the water reclamation facility, approved sewer inspection and manhole repair contracts, adopted an ordinance reassigning board-of-adjustment duties to council, set a Feb. 3 joint culture/recreation workshop and heard extended discussion and community concern about school boundary changes and launch-related infrastructure monitoring.
