The San Diego County Community Power Board of Directors on Feb. 26, 2026 moved a reordered agenda, approved a third clean-energy prepayment transaction, received updates on community grants, confirmed a community advisory committee appointment, adopted a midyear budget amendment adding positions while cutting discretionary spending, approved Social Security coverage via a Section 218 agreement, and adopted strengthened workforce and procurement criteria including a project labor agreement requirement for utility-scale projects.
