On Dec. 9, 2025, the City of Laurel Budget and Finance Committee met and unanimously approved routine items including minutes, claims, payroll ($282,499.82) and the November 2025 monthly financial statement. The mayor reported progress on the Love's site and Clerk/Treasurer Kelly Strecker said the Annual Financial Report is near completion and November tax receipts totaled about $2.4 million.
