Nelson County Board of Supervisors continued a FY25 budget work session, reviewed debt-service scenarios from Davenport and agreed to advertise a budget that includes an additional $610,000 for the School Division while reducing planned long-term debt capacity. The board also reached consensus not to add local funding for an already-filled Social Services position and set a public hearing for June 4 with a final vote slated for June 11.
