The Town of West Jefferson Board of Aldermen met Nov. 3, 2025. The board held a public hearing on a proposed ETJ reduction (residents urged staying in the ETJ) and later tabled the matter; approved multiple routine items including a budget amendment for fire equipment, fire department appointments, SmallBiz grant resolutions and an electronic-advertising resolution; and approved a Christmas Eve road closure for a community event over one dissent.
