The Summers County Board of Education held its regular meeting Oct. 22, 2024, where members approved routine business, authorized a memorandum of agreement with the Summers County Health Department for drug testing services, approved three out-of-state student trips, put an updated alcohol and controlled-substance policy out for public comment and heard a superintendent report raising budget and enrollment concerns.
