The Senate Institutions Committee on Feb. 24 reviewed draft language in a miscellaneous DMV bill to provide no-cost non-driver IDs, replacement operator licenses and learner permits to people leaving correctional facilities; committee members generally supported the language in a straw poll but did not take formal possession of the bill.
