Riley County Commission held its March 2 meeting with routine business, staff updates and presentations. Commissioners approved minutes and advertising for temporary elections assistance positions, approved an interim health clinic manager, heard a jail population update and a presentation on the Stepping Up jail-mental-health initiative, and discussed changes to the Rural Economic Development Advisory Board membership rules.
