The Soddy-Daisy Board of Commissioners met Feb. 1, 2024. Commissioners unanimously approved three zoning-related ordinances on final reading, held a first reading to update the city electrical code to the 2017 standard, and approved a reimbursable cost overrun for a railroad crossing signage/painting project. Several residents announced community events and raised concerns about parade fees, road repairs and storm damage.
